Foro Nuclear, the University of León and the Official Association of Mining Engineers of Central Spain organise the course ‘Current situation of nuclear technology’.
Once again, on 5 and 6 May, the Spanish Nuclear Industry Forum (Foro Nuclear) and the University of León organised a course entitled ‘Current situation of nuclear technology’ for students from the School of Mining Engineering and the School of Industrial, Computer and Aerospace Engineering in León.
A nuclear reactor designed specifically for data centres
Large data centres are a reality and even more so now with the rise of artificial intelligence. They require large amounts of energy and this is where nuclear technology comes in with reactors such as the Aalo Pod from Aalo Atomics.
New technology can recycle 90% of nuclear waste into fuel
The difference between this technology and traditional methods of radioactive waste management is that it is a cost-effective and sustainable alternative that drastically reduces the volume of radioactive waste and converts it into energy assets.
