Magnetic induction

Series of experiments related to understanding how electric current is generated

Aim:

Observe how the force of attraction is transmitted through iron materials.

Material:

•  A magnet
• Various ferrous materials

Process:

• Hold the magnet with one hand and with the other bring any of the objects closer until it sticks to the magnet.
• Then take a second object and bring it closer to the one that is already attached.

Observe and record what happens:

Repeat the same process with a third object and so on until the object no longer sticks.
