The Olkiluoto Nuclear Power Plant (Olkiluodon ydinvoimalaitos) is located on the island of Olkiluoto in the Gulf of Bothnia in the municipality of Eurajoki in western Finland.
It is one of Finland's two nuclear power plants and is operated by its owner Teollisuuden Voima (TVO), a subsidiary of Pohjolan Voima.
It consists of two boiling water reactors (BWR), with 860 MWe each, and a third unit, the first EPR (European Pressurized Water Reactor) to enter commercial operation in March 2022.
The group-only tour provides insight into the operations of the nuclear power plant while an expert can answer questions from the attendees, so the content can be customized according to the group's profile.
