Nuclear techniques for measuring greenhouse gases

The world's climate is changing rapidly, leading to increasingly extreme weather events, mainly due to greenhouse gases (especially carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide) trapping heat in the atmosphere.

This video shows how nitrogen 15 and carbon 13 isotope techniques are used to track the movement and origin of emissions of these gases to provide essential information for global efforts to develop sustainable and climate-smart agricultural practices that will shape the future.
