In collaboration with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Discovery Channel will soon broadcast a series of short films to inform its more than 40 million viewers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa about nuclear science and technology-based solutions to global problems.

Through this new partnership, signed on 12 December 2024, Discovery will premiere ‘Good to Know’, a series of educational videos on the benefits of nuclear science and technology in everyday life and its contribution to environmental sustainability, covering topics such as solutions to drought, cancer, and plastic pollution.

For its part, the IAEA, as a world center for cooperation in the nuclear field to promote the peaceful uses of nuclear energy, will provide audiovisual material and its experiences based on the initiatives carried out by its laboratories and the organization itself, which are of great interest but unknown to a large part of society.
