Visit by the Lise Meitner Programme to the Russian Federation

The Rosatom Technical Academy and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) have organised a visit for participants in the Lise Meitner Programme from 2 to 15 August 2026 (including travel days) to learn about the life cycle of nuclear power plants, the nuclear fuel cycle, and research and development activities, with an emphasis on safety, security, and safeguards.

It is aimed at female professionals with a background in the nuclear sector, with more than three years’ professional experience, or final-year PhD students with relevant prior work experience.
