Combined Cycle Power Plants

There are different types of thermal power plants, being the combined cycle one of them. Combined cycle power plants use natural gas as fuel to generate electricity and are characterized by using the combination of two types of turbine: a gas turbine, which rotates with the gases from the combustion of natural gas, and a steam turbine, which it rotates with the steam that we generate taking advantage of the heat of the gases originated in the combustion of natural gas. This video shows the operation of a combined cycle plant.
