On-site Visit: Cofrentes Nuclear Power Plant Information Centre (Spain)

The Cofrentes nuclear power plant is located in the municipality of Cofrentes (Valencia), at the tail end of the Embarcaderos reservoir, on the right bank of the river Júcar. It operates by means of a nuclear steam production system consisting of a 1,092 MWe BWR-6 light boiling water reactor and is owned by Iberdrola.

The plant has an information centre where visitors can find out about the plant and its activities.
