Richard Phillips Feynman era un genio \u00fanico incapaz de quedarse quieto al descubrir que no entend\u00eda algo, necesitaba comprender hasta los m\u00e1s m\u00ednimos detalles de un problema para poder resolverlo. Pose\u00eda la gran capacidad de ver la simplicidad de las cosas aparentemente complicadas, una fabulosa habilidad para apreciar lo evidente. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feynman estudi\u00f3 f\u00edsica en el Massachussets Institute of Technology (MIT) y obtuvo el grado de doctor en F\u00edsica en 1942, con un trabajo sobre las ondas electromagn\u00e9ticas supervisado por el f\u00edsico nuclear estadounidense John Wheeler<\/a>. Entre la audiencia se encontraban cient\u00edficos como Einstein<\/a>, Pauli<\/a> y von Neumann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 1945 se desplaz\u00f3 a la universidad de Cornell como profesor de f\u00edsica te\u00f3rica. M\u00e1s tarde, despu\u00e9s de su etapa como profesor visitante por la universidad de R\u00edo de Janeiro, fue profesor de f\u00edsica te\u00f3rica en el Californian Institute of Technology<\/em>, centrando sus investigaciones en la electrodin\u00e1mica cu\u00e1ntica, disciplina en la que desarroll\u00f3 la teor\u00eda del campo cu\u00e1ntico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sus contribuciones a la f\u00edsica estuvieron centradas en la electrodin\u00e1mica cu\u00e1ntica, desarroll\u00f3 las integrales de camino, estudi\u00f3 la superfluidez del helio l\u00edquido, propuso el modelo Part\u00f3n y fue un gran divulgador cient\u00edfico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 1965 fue galardonado con el Premio Nobel de F\u00edsica, junto con Shin-Ichio Tomonaga<\/a> y Julian Schwinger<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
