Alternator, how it works?

It is one of the main components of a nuclear power plant and is a piece of equipment connected to the turbine that generates electricity by transforming the mechanical rotational energy into medium voltage, high intensity electrical energy.

This equipment is connected to the transformer that raises the voltage of the electricity produced in the alternator to minimise losses in its transport to the points of consumption.
