Large data centres are a reality and even more so now with the rise of artificial intelligence. They require large amounts of energy and this is where nuclear technology comes in with reactors such as the Aalo Pod from Aalo Atomics.

The difference between this technology and traditional methods of radioactive waste management is that it is a cost-effective and sustainable alternative that drastically reduces the volume of radioactive waste and converts it into energy assets.

On 4 and 5 June, leaders of the nuclear industry, representatives of major European industries, senior officials from the European Commission, Parliament, and Member States will meet in Brussels to answer the question ‘How to strengthen Europe's competitiveness’.
